To get access to Instagram Insights for your Instagram account. First Step, you need to convert your personal Instagram profile to a business account.

Analysis of Instagram Insights Section :

Instagram provides a wide range of metrics which you can use to monitor your business account performance and improve the results of your marketing strategy to reach your targeted audience.

There are quite a few Instagram Metrics available for you to analyze your account performance. you will see insight for the last 30 days broken into the 3 sections which one help to make them more understandable.

  3. Audience


     


1- Activity:

Under the Activity tab, You will find two sets of the section in Instagram insights: Interactions and Discovery.


(A) Interactions:

In this subsection, you can view the total number of actions performed on your business account in the last 7 days or last 30 days, followed by a list of other metrics.

(a) Profile Visits – 

The number of users that have visited your Instagram business account.


(b) On The Website Clicks - 

The number of times visitors have clicked the link to your website from your Instagram business page.

(B) Discoverability: 

The next subsection defines the overall performance and influence of your Instagram business account using two key metrics: Measure Reach & Impressions.


(a) Measure Reach – 

The number of unique user accounts that have seen any of your posts.


(b) ⁣Impressions – 

The total number of times that all your post content has been seen. The post was viewed from your Business account, from hashtags, from others of the resource.

Stories is another subsection under the Content tab where you can view the Instagram insights of your post stories. 

In This Story insight section, you can analyze some of the key points.


(a) Impressions -

The number of times your Instagram Story has been seen by users.


(b) Reach-

The number of unique users/accounts that have viewed the post on your Instagram Story.


(c) Excited -

The number of times a user swiped away from a specific post story.


(d) Replies-

The number of replies to a particular post image or video in your story.


(e) Viewers-

The specific number of users that have seen your Instagram story.


(f) Forward-

The number of unique users that skipped to see your story post.

(g) Backwards-

The number of unique users that went back to reach your post story.



          


(C) Promotions:

You can also find the analysis report for any promotional and paid advertising ads that you have published on Instagram.

In This Subsection Tab, You can view:

  • The number of Profile/users view from your promotional posts.

This information allows you to see locations of your followers based on City and Countries.


(d)Follower hours-
